BIOS

Allison Prouty

Allison Prouty, principal and founder of Second Bolt, has fifteen years of experience developing marketing and sales programs; planning and managing events, festivals, and promotions; business development and fundraising, inclusive of professional/organizational relations, public relations, music management, team-building, and personal/professional coaching.

Dedicated to mentoring, Allison is a frequent speaker at her alma mater, Skidmore College, as well as with NYU, New York City College, Wells College and Ithaca College on the subjects of women in the arts, grassroots movements, and career development.

A business-minded creative spirit, Allison's theatre/film related credits include Guest Director, The Martha's Vineyard Film Festival; Associate Producer, Women's Project & Productions; Session Director/Director of Children's Casting, O'Connor Casting in Chicago; Associate Producer, twenty-five city National Tour and Broadway Production of Eve Ensler's The Good Body; and Assistant Production Manager, during the inaugural season of The Chicago Shakespeare Theater on Navy Pier.


John Paulsen

John Paulsen, the Business Management Strategist behind Second Bolt, has over ten years of experience consulting with companies of all sizes on strategic initiatives, acquisition, due diligence and market research. With a lengthy background in the insurance and reinsurance industry, John specializes in working closely with leadership teams analyzing various parts of business and developing strategies to advance market positioning.

In addition, John specializes in coordinating industry meetings, events and conventions for a diverse clientele encompassing a variety of industries. John holds an MBA in Business Administration, with a focus on Management/Marketing and a BA in Finance from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.


Lindsay Allen

Lindsay Allen has collaborated with Allison Prouty and Second Bolt on numerous projects, most recently heading up the marketing and sponsorship campaign for Theatre Communications Group's Free Night of Theater New York City 2010.

Lindsay has fifteen years of experience in the entertainment industry working in both communications and in production. She is forging a new role in independent film as a Producer of Marketing and Distribution, with a focus on transmedia strategies. Most recently, she is working with Cuomo Cole Productions on Living for 32, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival and was shortlisted for an Oscar. She continues to manage the national college tour for the film and is in pre-production on a film about mentoring.

Lindsay formerly established the marketing department at the Washington office of international law firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. She has worked on communications and event planning in a range of industries, in addition to the entertainment and legal fields, including for non-profits and retail clients. Lindsay is proud to have received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude and with departmental honors, from Barnard College.


Zoe LePage

Zoe LePage is currently a student at Barnard College, Columbia University. As a social media natural and skillful researcher, Zoe provides a fresh perspective and excellent assistance to the Second Bolt team. In addition to her work with Second Bolt, Zoe is interning for the Athena Film Festival at Barnard College. A certified yoga teacher, Zoe also provides a weekly class for Columbia students. Zoe is an Anthropology major and part of the distinguished Athena Scholars Program.
